The Long Reign Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

This policy explains what data The Long Reign collects, what it is used for and how long it is kept. The game is in development and this policy will be updated if what it collects changes. The data controller is Fernando Pastor (FPDEV Studios, Spain); you can write to ferpastor92@gmail.com.

Your game

Your saved game and your settings are stored only on your device. You do not need an account to play.

Play statistics (FPDEV Pulse)

To analyze how the game is played and improve it, The Long Reign sends anonymous statistics to our website (fpdevstudios.com): a random ID created on your device the first time you play; basic technical data (the system, the game version, whether it is the demo or the full game, the language and the time zone); and what happens in your game: when each session starts and ends and how long it lasts, how many days your kingdom survives and how many people are still alive at the end of each one, whether the kingdom falls, game milestones (for example founding the village, the first birth, research, proclaiming laws, revolts or finishing the demo), game errors and performance (frames per second and, where it can be measured, memory). The country is worked out on our server from the connection; the IP address is not stored. We do not collect your name, your email or any other data that identifies you.

How to turn them off

Statistics are on by default and start being sent as soon as you open the game, from the main menu onwards. You can turn them off at any time in the game's pause menu; from then on the game sends nothing more.

What we use them for

To analyze how the game is played: how many people play and come back, how long games last, when a kingdom falls or a game is abandoned and which parts are too hard or too easy; and to find and fix errors and performance problems. We do this based on our legitimate interest in developing and improving the game. We do not use this data for personalized advertising, we do not sell it and we do not combine it with other apps or websites.

What is stored on your device

The game itself does not use cookies. The demo's page stores one cookie that only remembers that you entered the activation code, for one year. Besides that, the game only stores your saved game, your settings, the random ID and your choice about statistics on your device. If you delete the game's data on your device, the ID is gone and a new one is created next time.

Fonts (Google Fonts)

To show the text in its typefaces, when you open the game your browser downloads them from Google Fonts, a Google service. That request goes straight to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and the usual technical data of any website visit (such as the browser you use). Google does not receive any game statistics. You can read how Google handles that data in its privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

Where it is stored and for how long

The statistics are stored with Vercel, Neon (database) and Upstash, which may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Events are deleted after 13 months; after that only totals that identify no one remain.

Children

The Long Reign does not ask for any personal data and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, objection or restriction of processing by writing to ferpastor92@gmail.com. Because the statistics are not linked to your identity, we may not be able to find yours; to stop sending them, turn them off in the pause menu. You can also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
